Ira K. Glasser
Ira K. Glasser works nationally in investment real estate marketing, development, asset management and financing. An independent consultant, his current real estate clients include major companies and banks. In addition to commercial real estate consulting, he works with human service and cultural non-profit entities in many capacities, particularly including board development and strategic planning. He also works with individuals. He is both a licensed clinical social worker and a real estate broker. Mr. Glasser brings passion, attention to detail and creativity to all his work. He is serving on the board of Mind Matters to help the clinic provide its services to all of those in need of them.
Trudy Lackey
Trudy Lackey has lived in Calaveras County since 1992 and has three children. She has always loved Calaveras as a wonderful place to raise a family and to become involved in the community. She has worked as Coordinator of the Healthy Start Grant for Vallecito Union School District [VUSD], Executive Director of the Calaveras Community Foundation, and Manager of the Calaveras Center/Community Education for Columbia College, as well as run her own lease-financing business. She served on the VUSD Board of Trustees for 13 years.
“It is a privilege to serve on the Board of Mind Matters where hopefully I can be a small part of helping to serve the many needs of patients and families affected by ADHD, Autism Spectrum and Learning Disorders. It is enlightening and interesting to have the opportunity to learn about this underserved population and how Dr. Thompson and his dedicated staff are making a major difference in serving this population.”
Hugh Swift
Hugh Swift graduated from the University of San Diego in 1981, California Western School of Law in 1985, and was admitted to the California Bar in 1985. He was in private practice in San Diego until he began working for the Superior Court of the State of California, County of Amador, in 1999 as a research attorney. Mr. Swift was appointed Executive Officer of the Court in November 2004. In addition to his duties as the Executive Officer, Mr. Swift was appointed a Superior Court Commissioner in April of 2006 and continues to serve in that capacity.
Doug Tribble
Doug Tribble has been a Certified Public Accountant for 14 years and has worked in the accounting field for more than 17 years. He has served as treasurer for non-profits for over 14 years and is a graduate of UC Davis in 1989 with a BA degree in Anthropology.
“I am serving on the board because I feel my past experience and expertise are of benefit to a newly formed non-profit. My own two children have been diagnosed with ADD and other learning and behavioral challenges, so I also have a vested interest in the continuing presence of Mind Matters.”
Mark Wilson
Mark Wilson has lived in Murphys for nearly 20 years, where he and his wife, Terri, raised two children, Kyle and Shayne. He is a CSUC graduate and Owner/General Manager of Signal Service, Inc, a second generation business his father started in his “retirement.” Prior to joining the Mind Matters Board, Mark helped start Murphys Creek Theatre, a local non-profit theater company, and served as its board president for many years.
“Murphys is a pretty small place, so I’d read in the local paper when my family doctor, Ryan Thompson, founded a clinic called Mind Matters. I’d given little thought to Learning Disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorders until I was invited to a Board mixer and information was presented. Realizing the nuanced and widespread nature of LD and ASD, I was surprised to learn there were few resources available (being a parent, it is easy for me to imagine the struggle to raise an autistic child). I was attracted by the Mind Matters Staff’s passion and commitment.” |
